Supply Chain & Operations Senior Manager - Planning

We are seeking a commercially minded, proactive, and ambitious Senior Manager to lead and drive the transformation of tomorrow’s planning capabilities, positively impacting business, society, and the planet. As part of the Nordic Supply Chain & Operations team, you will be an integral part of Accenture’s leading Nordic practice, supporting clients across the region to create customer-centric, resilient, and sustainable planning solutions.
In this key role, you will collaborate across Accenture’s global network to mobilize the right people, skills, and technologies to deliver impactful transformations that unlock real value. This is a unique opportunity to take charge of our local Supply Chain & Operations initiative, focused specifically on planning in the Nordics. You will be responsible for building and leading a team dedicated to shaping the future of supply chain planning, while also playing a central role in selling new projects and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership in Planning Transformation: Lead transformation initiatives in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, and inventory optimization. You’ll partner with clients to develop advanced, future-ready planning strategies and processes that drive sustainable business outcomes.
- Client Engagement and Project Development: Develop and manage client relationships, identify new opportunities, and lead efforts to secure and execute impactful projects that position Accenture as a trusted advisor in planning.
- Team Building and Leadership: Build, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to delivering top-tier planning solutions, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Technology and Digital Enablement: Work with technology experts to integrate advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning capabilities into client planning processes, enhancing agility and predictive capabilities.
- Regional and Global Collaboration: Partner closely with Accenture’s Nordic and global supply chain and operations teams, aligning on strategy and resources to maximize impact.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree from a recognized university and over 8 years of work experience in Supply Chain Management & Operations, with a specific focus on planning. You’re passionate about SC&O, and topics such as demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, and inventory optimization. You have led major projects at both strategic and operational levels and are adept at influencing across multiple stakeholders. As a leader, you communicate effectively at all levels, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and possess solid business acumen within supply chain planning.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Experience: Over 8 years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on planning (demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, inventory management, etc.). Previous consulting experience is a plus.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading teams and complex projects at both strategic and operational levels.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business understanding, particularly within supply chain planning, and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and capturing value for clients.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with key planning technologies (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, Blue Yonder) and familiarity with analytics, AI, and machine learning applications.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and a Nordic language, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration across functions.
In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain & Operations Lead in Nordics and be based in Sweden, Norway or Denmark.
