Job Summary:
This position is a full-time role to be filled by an experienced legal counsel, with at least 6 - 8 years of corporate & contracting law experience in a multi-national corporation or law firm. The role will have a strong compliance & regulatory focus, as well as data privacy and commercial law elements.

The Geographic Corporate & Compliance (“GCC”) Team are the local business enablers. We advise on compliance matters, procurement, pro bono and charity collaborations and initiatives that engage with our community and wider society.
We also support and advise the Board of Directors of our operating companies on their responsibilities and work with our Ventures and Acquisition team to integrate acquired businesses post acquisition. 

Our team is responsible for considering the local aspects of global initiatives and in so doing we work with a global network of GCC lawyers. The GCC Team continually adapts to support the Swedish and Nordic business to address new legal challenges as the business continues to innovate.

Job Qualifications:

  • LLB/LLM or equivalent Law Degree.

  • 6 - 8 years of relevant legal experience with a private corporation or a law firm. 

  • Experienced in Commercial & Corporate Law and good working knowledge of Data Privacy Legislation & Corporate Governance.

  • Procurement experience is a merit.

  • Strong verbal/written communications skills.

  • Fluent English (at legal level) oral and written.

  • Fluent Swedish (at legal level) oral and written.

  • Other Nordic or Baltic language skills is a merit.

  • Analytical approach and ability to consistently apply good judgment.

  • Agility to move between a wide range of matters.

  • Confidence and strong interpersonal skills to be able to liaise and provide support and advice to senior leadership and Board members.

  • Responsive and follows through on commitments.

  • Team oriented, yet able to work independently.

Job Responsibilities: 

1.Provide legal support to and interface with internal stakeholders in Sweden and the Nordic and Baltic countries.
2.Support local and global projects by providing legal advice as required and related to Sweden.
3.Draft and review Procurement, Marketing & other Contracts and related documents in support of the Accenture’s Internal Operations.   
4.Assist in the implementation of Global Compliance Programs in the areas of Anti-Corruption and Government Compliance Support, Competition Law, Trade Compliance, Ethics and Anti-Money Laundering.
5.Monitor regulatory developments, advise and work with the Nordic GCC Legal Lead to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation.  
6.Generally provide legal counsel, advice and guidance to Accenture’s operating entities in Sweden to ensure maximum protection of Accenture´s legal rights and mitigation of legal risks. 
7.Together with the Nordic GCC Legal Lead ensure compliance of local operations with local laws, within the framework of Accenture’s global compliance program and other Accenture policies.
8.Together with the Nordic GCC Legal Lead implement regular support and monitoring of Accenture’s general local legal needs. 
9.Organize and direct legal support in alignment with Accenture Data Privacy Team, Anticorruption Team and other Compliance Teams as well as other Subject Matter Experts from Employment law team and Contracting Legal.
10.Provide Nordic market unit and local legal support to other corporate functions, in particular the Country Managing Director, Finance, HR, Tax, Marketing, Workplace and Procurement.
11.Support Litigation & Disputes, Corporate Investigations and the Internal Audit team, as needed.
12.Relationships: Reports to GCC Legal Lead for the Nordic and Baltic countries.
