The Accenture Media Management domain is part of Accenture Operations. A successful practice, within Accenture. The group has 200 media experienced professionals working in 20 countries.

We work with a portfolio of Nordic and International clients and their media agencies to understand our clients’ communications strategy, and analyse the efficiency and performance of their media planning and buying across all media (TV, Digital, Press, Radio and Outdoor). We are employed to encourage transparency and increase accountability, identifying where an agency is performing well and areas for improvement. This often involves agreeing targets for the media agency to deliver tied to a Performance Related Fee incentive. The Media Management scope extends from the measurement and evaluation of media, to agency pitch management, digital media analysis and consultancy, financial contract compliance etc.
Demystifying the media industry for our clients, particularly with regards to media jargon, is a key part of our role as an independent consultant. This includes guiding clients on issues relating to digital media, where the pace of change and increasing complexity mean that consultative services and evaluation are more important to clients than ever.

We are now looking for an individual who can advise and consult through both our core services and new digital approaches and industry challenges. Adapting to change and finding answers to any kind of issue clients raise, require a flexible approach and agile mindset. This role is a great opportunity for someone to work in a global media business, as well as get to know the consultancy and auditing business. The role is flexible, and you will receive good support from your team lead.

Role Responsibilities

  • Understanding client business problems and the strategy behind the media planning and resultant activity in order to enhance our service to clients. This may be the target audience, sales objectives, regionality, implications of the marketplace, competitive context, etc.
  • Conducting high quality analyses with great attention to detail, assessing the performance of the agency and identifying any efficiency that can be made.
  • Provide clients with status updates on the project from start to completion and liaise with agency project leads to meet project timelines highlighting areas of concern/risk when appropriate
  • Interpreting data in order to fully understand the implications and opportunities derived from it.
  • Forming opinions, conclusions and actions which are clear and have a known value and communicating these with conviction to all stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with the other members in the team and share concepts that may aid analysis with other consultants.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and their agencies in meetings
  • Be methodical, organised, timely and an ambassador for Media Management when with clients.
  • Contribute to new business proposals and overall development and growth of the Nordic and global Media Management business.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • 2-3 years of experience from media, digital and/or TV (either agency, client or media owner side)
  • Detailed knowhow of the Nordic media market place and trading practices
  • Strong verbal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Swedish both verbally and in writing
  • Confident approach to lead and manage meetings and presentations with senior client’s teams
  • Ability to establish credibility with clients
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of both online and offline media
  • Achievement, drive, initiative and adaptability
  • Ability to multi task, prioritise and meet deadlines to deliver multi-dimensional projects with high level of precision
  • Analyses and problem-solving skills with high level of numeracy (eye for detail)
  • Experience at a media/marketing agency with an in-depth knowledge of the Nordic media industry
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Advanced excel & powerpoint skills
