The Accenture Media Management domain is part of Accenture Operations. A successful practice, within Accenture. The group has 200 media experienced professionals working in 20 countries.

We work with a portfolio of Nordic and International clients and their media agencies to understand our clients’ communications strategy, and analyse the efficiency and performance of their media planning and buying across all media (TV, Digital, Press, Radio and Outdoor). We are employed to encourage transparency and increase accountability, identifying where an agency is performing well and areas for improvement. The Media Management scope extends from the measurement and evaluation of media, to agency pitch management, digital media analysis and consultancy, financial contract compliance etc.

Demystifying the media industry for our clients, particularly with regards to media jargon, is a key part of our role as an independent consultant. This includes guiding clients on issues relating to digital media, where the pace of change and increasing complexity mean that consultative services and evaluation are more important to clients than ever.

We are now looking for an individual who can advise and consult through both our core services and new digital approaches and industry challenges. Adapting to change and finding answers to any kind of issue clients raise, require a flexible approach and agile mindset. This role is a great opportunity for someone to take firsts steps leading a team, as well as manage and own tasks relating to a local P&L. The role is flexible, and you will receive good support from your regional team lead.

Role Responsibilities

  • Day to Day client work
    • Understanding the strategy behind the media planning and the corresponding results, in order to enhance our service to clients. This may be the target audience, sales objectives, competitive context and implications of the marketplace
    • Conducting high quality analysis with great attention to detail, assessing the performance of the agency and identifying any efficiency that can be made.
    • Build trusted-advisor status with Accenture Media Management clients
    • Build and deliver local Client account plans
    • Use existing Accenture methodologies, platforms and tools to shape and deliver insight and action for clients
    • Coordinate projects on a global scale, including multiple stakeholders and teams
    • Create new solutions to client challenges to extend our offering primarily within the area of digital media
  • Team management
    • Client and new business time spent vs. targets
    • Engagement and motivation
    • Performance Achievement and rewards
    • Recruitment and training
  • Grow and add to the Media Management global business
    • Participation in global/regional/local RFPs
    • Relationship with local Accenture Client Account Leads
    • Teaming with other parts of Accenture on origination and pursuit
    • Take new offerings to market with a focus on digital services
  • Lead tasks relating to the country P&L
    • Build and maintain business plan
    • Sales, Revenue, Profitability vs. plan
    • Pipeline management, client qualification lists
    • Manage other local operational costs

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience from media, digital and/or TV (either agency, client or media owner side) and 7-10 years working experience in total.
  • Preferably experience within consulting and sales
  • Experience in Nordic media
  • Experience within project management and stakeholder communication
  • Exposure to or experience in media buying
  • Educated to degree standard or higher, preferably in marketing or statistics
  • Numerical with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for data-driven insight
  • Good MS-Office skills
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • Great team spirit, with high level of flexibility, creativity and commitment
  • Able to handle critical situations and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills
  • Fluency in English and Swedish both verbally and in writing
