Right now we are looking for a Deal Shaper to Financial Services Sales team
The Sales team in Financial Services is a Nordic team focused on the larger opportunities with banks and insurance companies in the Nordics. Our focus is to help our clients realize the benefits of new digital opportunities, to increase their internal efficiency and better serve the end customer. This means that the sales team prepares value propositions and proposals for large scale client initiatives, regarding everything from application and business process outsourcing to business transformation (including replacing legacy systems with modern standard based platforms), all to become more agile and competitive in an increasingly volatile business environment.

 

The Sales team currently consists of more than 10 people across the 4 Nordic countries. As a result of strong results and clear ambitions for continued growth, we are now looking for new high performing colleagues. You will become part of a highly successful team and work in a very dynamic and demanding environment where you will have great opportunities to grow.

 

The Deal Shaper will work closely with the Sales leads and rest of the sales team in order to create winning value propositions, proposals, RFI and RFP responses. Specifically, the Deal Shaper is responsible for the pricing and commercial constructs that are relevant for the client and Accenture.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Be responsible for the commercial approach/deal shape and pricing of the services offered to the client
  • Work as a key member of the sales team in client meetings and internally to fully understand the “price to win”, bringing the pricing and other commercial elements together for a winning proposal and contract
  • Work closely with the solution architects in order to understand the cost elements of the solution and levers for cost and price improvements
  • Analyze client budgets and existing cost base to establish baselines for the client business case
  • Identify financial opportunities to optimize client and Accenture business cases
  • Generate creative ideas and solutions for the client engagement team, applying value-added pricing approaches
  • Hands-on pricing of services

 

 

Qualifications:

Key Skills and motivational factors:

  • You enjoy working in a fast-pace environment and are willing to go the extra mile to deliver high quality according to tight deadlines 
  • You have a minimum 3 years of relevant experience from a similar role, working with pricing of complex services, alternatively experience with financial management
  • Some understanding of accounting practices and how different commercial approaches will impact the clients’ P&L, Balance sheet etc.
  • Ideally, experience from consulting and/or Banking/Insurance
  • Strong analytical skills and good ability to work with complex costing data, and turning these into easy-to-understand pricing and commercial approach
  • Can-do attitude with ability to be flexible when deadlines require
  • Passion for detail and quality 
  • MS Office skills, Excel especially


Formal Requirements:

Language: Fluent English in both writing and speaking (preferably also Swedish)
Education: Bachelor of Science (at least), probably within business or engineering
Mobility: A willingness to travel when required is crucial
