Accenture´s  Strategy Operations practice focuses on collaborating with Chief Supply Chain Officers, Chief Procurement Officers and Chief Operating Officers to devise business strategies that create innovative and high performance operations that more effectively meet customer expectations and deliver sustained business outcomes. The value we deliver comes from our ability to align underlying process and operating models to support business strategies, link the supply chain to the end-to-end value chain, and create flexible operations that enable rapid response to changing customer demands and market opportunities.

 

Role Description
Strategy Operations Consultants develop solutions and related business cases focused on targeting and delivering value and drive value-led transformations for clients. As a Strategy Operations Consultant you will work within the areas of Supply Chain Strategy, Operations Transformation, Innovation & Product Development, Sourcing & Procurement as well as Manufacturing, addressing both strategic and operational issues.


A typical project duration is 2-4 months and our clients include many leading companies in the Nordics and globally. Frequent travelling may be required, but may vary depending on client and project context.


Key responsibilities:

  • Address both strategic and operational issues
  • Drive diagnosis and value assessment in order to identify value creation opportunities for clients
  • Guide teams through issue identification and work plan development using problem solving principles and past experience
  • Work seamlessly with the Accenture team and our clients' own resources to ensure that the recommendations are implemented
  • Establish and develop long term client relationships based on trust and delivery of sustainable results
  • Contribute to the Strategy and Operations practice with thought leadership and team capability development


 

 

Qualifications
Prior experience:
A minimum of 3 years work experience within operations/ supply chain or similar is expected. Candidates should possess general management consulting skills and have a strong track record, preferably from a leading management consulting firm. Strong skills within communication, problem solving, financial/value business acumen, relationship development and project management are required. Relevant experience within the supply chain field is also important (e.g. general supply chain but also specifically within sourcing and procurement, logistics, new product development, etc.). Candidates should have an aspiration towards leadership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment.

 

Education: M.Sc. in Engineering or Business
Language: English/Swedish
