Our Parent Networks focus on ensuring contact with parents during parental leave. The network connects Accenture parents on leave, ensure leadership contact and business update while on leave, shares experience about work life balance and how to make a career while having kids. In addition, some networks plan social Accenture events for the whole family.
Our women's network brings together women across all career levels to network, share career experiences and get to know each other across the organization. Throughout the year, we have regular breakfast/lunch sessions where we focus on various topics related to being a woman in Accenture. Our highlight of the year is our celebration of the International Women's Day on March 8th.
Ensuring an inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees in the Nordics is a key and integral part of our Inclusion & Diversity strategy. Our LGBT networks connect LGBT people and allies to raise awareness, educate Accenture people about LGBT, supports our LGBT employees and works to promote a workplace of equality. Our highlight of the year is participating in the Pride parade during Pride week.
Cultural Diversity Network
We have over 40 different nationalities represented in Accenture Nordic. Thus, we have established Cultural Awareness Networks to learn more about different cultures, get to know our colleagues across cultures and nationalities and ensure that people who come to the Nordics to work and live, are well integrated into Accenture and their new country.
