KEY ACTIVITIES:
Design analytical applications, modern data platforms, data structures and related integration
Lead data lake house analysis, design, and build efforts.
Work with customers, users, technical architects to define required requirements.
Advice clients in terms of software / platform selection
Shape roadmaps in terms of data platform coverage, maturity in line with business requirements
Ensure that designs fulfil requirements, including data volume, frequency needs, and long-term data growth.
Demonstrate data platform experience when communicating with clients on their requirements, turning these into technical transformation solutions.
Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and various teams internally and externally.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
8+ years of overall experience with at least 2 years leading architecture definition of modern analytical data platforms – data lakes, data warehouses, data lakehouse
Proven background of designing and implementing architectural solutions which solve strategic and tactical business needs.
Deep knowledge of best practices through relevant experience across data-related disciplines and technologies, particularly for enterprise-wide data architectures, data management, data governance and data warehousing Highly competent with relational database design and structured query language (SQL)
Experience with at least one of listed platforms and modern data & analytics solutions –Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica, Collibra etc.
Ability to architect data solutions, applying concepts of data modelling, data validation, consolidation, data quality, data discovery and catalogue, data lineage.
Experience in working in multinational environment.
Self-motivation, proactiveness and openness to changes.
Ability to make things happen and to keep deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected situations.
Business oriented and results driven.
Good analytical skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Related certifications would be a plus.
Arabic as native language would be a plus.
