Application Developer – SAP ABAP Development -Analyst
Job Summary:
As an Application Developer at Accenture, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will leverage your expertise in SAP ABAP Development to deliver innovative solutions that enhance business processes and drive efficiency. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, a focus on quality and performance, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Development and Innovation:
Design, build, and configure SAP ABAP applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Develop innovative application solutions that enhance business processes and align with client objectives.
Leverage SAP ABAP for HANA to optimize application performance and ensure compatibility with modern SAP systems.
2. Collaboration and Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
Actively engage with multiple teams to contribute to key decisions and ensure alignment across projects.
3. Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application quality, performance, and reliability.
Identify and resolve technical issues to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
4. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in SAP ABAP Development.
Continuously evaluate and improve application development practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship:
Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise.
Foster a collaborative learning environment to support team growth and development.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
1-2 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development, with a focus on designing and building applications.
Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development, including Reports, Enhancements, Forms, and Interfaces.
Advanced proficiency in SAP ABAP for HANA is highly desirable.
Familiarity with debugging tools, performance optimization techniques, and modern SAP development practices.
Problem-Solving and Collaboration:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and OData services is a plus.
SAP certifications in ABAP Development or HANA are highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
