Role Overview:
As an Oracle HCM E-Business Suite (EBS) Senior Consultant at Accenture, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle HCM EBS solutions across Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, iRecruitment, OTL, and Performance Management modules. You will collaborate with clients to analyze HR business processes, configure Oracle EBS applications, and deliver end-to-end functional and technical solutions that optimize HR operations and enhance organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and business requirements for Oracle HCM EBS modules.

  • Design, configure, and implement Oracle HCM EBS solutions across modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR (SSHR), Time and Labor (OTL), and Performance Management.

  • Lead and support full-cycle implementations including requirements definition, system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

  • Analyze complex business issues and provide recommendations using Oracle best practices and proven HR process models.

  • Create and maintain functional design documents, test scripts, training materials, and configuration workbooks.

  • Work closely with technical teams to support customizations, extensions, reports, and integrations (RICE components).

  • Support data migration activities including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Develop reports and analytics using Oracle Discoverer, BI Publisher, and HRMS Reports.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system configuration, business processes, and integrations.

  • Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support for system users.

  • Stay current with Oracle EBS updates, patches, and HR technology trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.

  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM E-Business Suite (R12) implementation or support.

  • Strong functional knowledge in one or more HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, OTL, or Performance Management.

  • Experience with RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions).

  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes, statutory requirements, and compliance frameworks.

  • Proficiency in creating reports using Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, or Discoverer.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite HCM certification is highly desirable.

  • Experience with full lifecycle implementations and upgrade/migration projects.

  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS integration to Oracle Fusion Cloud or third-party systems.

  • Exposure to Agile project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA.

  • Experience leading small functional teams or mentoring junior consultants.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL for functional troubleshooting.
