"In an ever-changing world, adaptability can be your best asset, as it teaches you to take the element of surprise from situations and turn it into a gift for your overall growth. That is the outstanding key point of my Accenture experience."

How we put change in motion

As a robotics fanatic, my internship at the Innovation Center in Accenture was fascinating. It felt like a trip back to childhood, where the office was our playground and we had smarter, more sophisticated toys to play with. It was challenging and fun, and the team was so open to new ideas, so excited about our perspective. Every small movement of the robots in the direction I wanted was food for my incentive to move forward.

After the internship, my path has changed. I wanted to experience a new area of Industry X and I have leaned towards development. And what an adventure it has been ever since. In just a year, I had the opportunity to work with so many technologies, get insights into different areas of the IT domain, such as machine learning, data processing, low code and many others. As for now, I work on full stack development as part of a great team. They make working while being a student both doable and enjoyable.

A day in my life

Some might say that my schedule is quite chaotic, but it makes me more productive. I am a student as well, so I am always in between running from one class to another and working either from office or from home. Therefore, one of the things I adore most about working at Accenture is the possibility of having a flexible schedule and work from wherever it feels more comfortable in that moment.

As for when I am not working, I either meet my friends, read, or find a fun workout to keep myself active. There’s rarely enough time at the end of the day for me to do all of them.

To be fair, the only constants in my day-to-day life are my tea and my laptop and that makes it the more engaging.

"I find that only living on the edge of your limits makes it possible for you to stretch them further."

My advice

Stay flexible and never let a challenge pass you by! Sometimes, the things that trigger you the most are the ones that have the greatest contribution to your development.
