How I put change into motion
My work in Finance and Accounting has become more exciting and dynamic by shifting the way we approach business, through new tools and technologies. I can now explore, engage and be more creative with my work, and this allows me to think outside of the box and be more present.
A day in my life
I usually start my mornings by drafting the direction of the day – as such, I use the available technology in place to connect with my teams and clients.
Together we manage to find ways to unleash our creativity and human ingenuity in finding new solutions for clients’ business and better ways to understand and address their needs.
As a result, I have a great sense of satisfaction when, at the end of the day, we draw the line and see how we generate sustainable business value, that leads to smart business decisions and improvements in the way our clients work.
For me, Finance and Accounting is truly exciting. I work with the best people and latest technology.
My advice
It’s time to stop thinking of Finance as repetitive tasks, invoices in envelopes, collecting and paying cash or doing mathematics on a piece of paper or using a calculator; it’s time to start thinking outside of the box and letting your creativity run free.
