How you’ll make an impact:

  • Support the apprenticeship program life cycle (e.g. onboard, streamline program aspects, execute engagement activations, evaluation process, and offboarding) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Support the Program Manager by executing the tasks and action items in running of the program;

  • Establish effective relationships with a variety of cross-functional teams and be responsible for streamlining processes and providing consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Maintain consistency, follow centralized guidelines and adopt best practices in the running of the program;

  • Establish an inclusive, fair and equitable experience for apprentices;

  • Work on special projects that support the overall Apprenticeship program;

  • Responsible for ensuring that all apprentices are properly onboarded into the program. This includes aligning all event logistics on-site as per the schedule and agenda, timely communication with the apprentices related to the onboarding tasks and following up on the pending matters;

  • Monthly engagement activations: To build the apprentice community and enable knowledge sharing, the program team engages with the apprentice and manager community at least 4-5 times every month;

  • Responsible for executing the career readiness plan as prepared by the program team. Including managing logistics as per agenda, coordination with the third-party trainer, facilitators and the apprentices to effectively build on this critical phase. This would include setting meeting rooms, coordinating tech checks, branding, signages, ensuring food and drinks are available to the attendees and guest speakers, helping them navigate the office space when required and managing any on-site requests;

  • Liaise with external event agency, training provider and other stakeholders during the event planning process;

  • Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes;

  • Book venues, entertainers, photographers, and schedule speakers;

  • Conduct final inspections on the day of the event;

  • Update documentation related to the completion of the program and helping maintain the alumni community;

  • Will collaborate with the client program managers to build and execute process improvements (ex: creating automation of simple processes into dashboards etc);

  • Ensure an inclusive, fair and equitable experience for apprentices;

  • Work on special projects that support the overall apprenticeship program;

  • Lead promotional activities for the event and approve all aspects before the day of the event.

Skills that make your work successful:

  • Clear written and verbal communication in English & French (advanced user;)

  • Minimum 4 years relevant work experience in Program & Project Management;

  • Previous experience with data analysis and Google Workspace tools;

  • Previous experience setting up surveys and dashboards in Qualtrics;

  • Ability to problem-solve and effectively execute multiple projects simultaneously;

  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record for delivering results through successful program design and implementation;

  • Previous experience supporting or leading diversity, equity, and inclusion-focused programs;

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive cross-functional working relationships;

  • Strong organizational and communication skills;

  • Proven ability to take initiative in an ambiguous situation; identify problems and propose/execute solutions proactively.
