By being part of our team, you will work from Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 18:00 PM in a hybrid way.
How you’ll make an impact:
Perform compliance checks by determining quality and completeness of purchase request (PR) based on purchasing policy such as Supplier Code + Name, Commodity Code, Need by date, Price etc;
Obtain and analyze required number of quotes from preferred or contracted supplier and submit for approval;
Build & Maintain effective supplier relationships to get timely quotations, obtain savings / discounts;
Conduct negotiations with the suppliers to obtain savings on high value requisitions;
Verify all required approvers are included in submission of requisition;
Approve PR for auto PO creation, PO amendments / deletions based on requests;
Handling supplier and requester queries regarding RFQ and requisitions;
Working with tools such as Service Now, Ariba, SAP, Microsoft Office.
Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts.
Qualifications
Skills that make your work successful:
You have at least B2 Italian & English language skills;
Nice to have 1 year experience as a buyer in a middle sized or large Procurement Operations engagement;
Good communication and ability to negotiate with suppliers, customer service oriented and analytical skills;
Very good time management and prioritization;
Display attention to detail, time management skills;
Bachelor's degree may be required.
