We partner with Legal teams across Accenture to build efficiencies and centers of excellence related to Legal services; and through our size, geographic spread and language diversity.
The role of the Contracting Associate Manager is to support Accenture business by being responsible for the legal reviews assigned to her/him facing the Clients, business team and the legal onshore team.
How you’ll make an impact:
Advise and consult senior company executives, from business or other corporate functions, based on accurate interpretation of contract documents and the elements of a business opportunity.
Lead, structure, negotiate and close Accenture’s complex client transactions to be most advantageous from a legal and business perspective;
Stay abreast of developments affecting the company, its clients, and industries and synthesize the information to incorporate it into company’s transactional practices;
Educate and advise company executives with respect to legal and risk management issues;
Develop subject matter experience in one of more areas that benefit Legal and/or our business;
Participate in developing internal guidelines, toolkits, and packaged knowledge capital on various legal and business issues;
Support, promote and implement Legal Group initiatives;
Embrace and evolve to gain experience in seven Contracting attributes, including becoming a pathfinder, architect, business-minded, nonconformist, inspired, relevant and technology enabled contracting professional
Provide prompt legal advice to more junior members of the Contracting team that may be required during the daily course of business;
Achieve accreditation in all service lines included in local scope following priorities set by Team Lead/Area Lead;
Provide Contracting support to the business on basic contracting tasks using limited effort and minimal quantity of time;
Represent company’s interests and interface directly with client negotiating teams;
Structure client transactions to be most advantageous from a contracting and business perspective.
By being part of our team, you will work from Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 18:00 PM (Romania time) in a 90% remote setup.
Qualifications
Skills that make your work successful:
Education and Work Experience:
Qualified lawyer /entitled to practice law /university degree in law is mandatory;
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contracting matters preferably in the IT /Technology field;
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic;
Highly positive and collaborative outlook;
Highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of contracting;
Strong negotiation skills, executive presence and the ability to influence significant business and contracting decisions;
Proven ability to manage escalations effectively;
Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills;
Excellent judgment;
Highly developed touch and tone;
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills.
Ability to take decisions and communicate appropriately both to business teams;
Apply the internal reporting process, including reporting required by Team Lead/ Area Lead;
Ability to address contract discussions/negotiations, both internal and external with minor escalations.
