The role of the GLN Contracting Associate Manager is to support France business by being responsible for the legal reviews assigned to her/him facing the Clients, business team and the legal onshore team.

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide Contracting support to the business in respect of the most demanding deals as follows:

a) Review, draft and negotiate complex work. 

b) Advises senior company leadership on legal risks:

  • Represent company’s interests and interface directly with client negotiating teams.

  • Strategize with senior company executives prior to client negotiations.

  • Structure client transactions to be most advantageous from a contracting and business perspective.

  • Advise and consult senior company executives, from business or other corporate functions, based on accurate interpretation of contract documents and the elements of a business opportunity.

Counsel, guide, train and support more junior members of the GLN Contracting team. Provide prompt legal advice to more junior members of the GLN Contracting team that may be required during the daily course of business. Ability to take decisions and communicate appropriately both to business teams and GLNPs. Apply the internal GLN reporting process, including reporting required by Team Lead/ Area Lead Ability to address contract discussions/negotiations, both internal and external with minor escalations Actively participate to GLN trainings and initiatives. Achieve accreditation in all service lines included in local GLN scope following priorities set by Team Lead/Area Lead.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Highly positive and collaborative outlook

  • Understand and be able to navigate Accenture environment

  • Highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of contracting at Accenture

  • Strong negotiation skills, executive presence and the ability to influence significant business and contracting decisions.

  • Proven ability to manage escalations effectively.

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

  • Excellent judgment

  • Highly developed touch and tone

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Fluent in English and French language with strong oral and written communication skills; and

  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills.

Education and Work Experience:  

  • Qualified lawyer /entitled to practice law /university degree in law

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in contracting matters preferably in the IT /Technology field

  Work Requirements:

Travel abroad or in country may be required
