Job Description

If you enjoy the collaboration with client's representatives and developments teams, as well as solving complex puzzles, you’ll love working with Quintiq. The Quintiq offers customers all the benefits of standard software, with all the advantages of a fully configurable solution. You'll be in the role of making all that happening and suitable for our clent's need.
As a Technical Consultant you will be responsible for defining architecture and setting up the Quintiq environments of the customer. You will have an active part in the development process by working closely with the developers mainly on system integration related topics. You will be the main person to maintain the development and production environments within optimal running parameters.

Key responsibilities:
• Get familiar with the Quintiq software suit (components, integration options, technical setup).
• Understand non-functional customer requirements and provide technical solutions for them.
• Have a high level understanding of the functional part, with focus on the data flows.
• Design and set up the technical architecture of projects.
• Assist in defining and setting up the code delivery process (CI/CD).
• Maintain and fine-tune existing installations, with focus on performance, stability and security.
• Support the client team with Quintiq related technical questions.
• Work closely with the project development team, client team and Quintiq software support to ensure that the best technical solutions are being applied.
• Investigate and resolve technical incidents, performance issues.
• Assist in system monitoring.
• Plan and carry out Quintiq base software upgrades on your projects. 


Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor degree in software engineering or similar field.
•Relevant experience in infrastructure consulting/ application tuning and technical application maintenance.
•Experience in working with customers, creating/designing solutions for their requirements.
•Great analytical & troubleshooting skills.
•Good communications skills (written and verbal)), customer facing.
•Able to maintain good working relations with multiple teams and stakeholders.
•Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented, multicultural environment.
•Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Professional Skill Requirements:
•Experience with large-scale software implementations and client-based project work.
•Affinity with databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and interface technologies (e.g., REST, MQ, JMS, ODBC) is a plus.
•Curiosity for technical topics, best practices.
•Always looking for improvement options of the technical setup.
•Be able to quickly understand the technical possibilities of the Quintiq software suit.
•Strong verbal and written communication in English. In addition, knowledge of other foreign languages is considered a plus.
