Every day is a process of growth, being responsible of:

  • Assign team resources to work, communicating allocated budget, schedule, and macro approach

  • Empowered to make decisions for their team and ultimately accountable to ensure their team creates their deliverables on budget, on schedule with the appropriate quality

  • Manage resources to achieve these assignments – deliverables, budget, schedule, and quality SLA

  • Track & create/provide needed team status using standard templates and actively participate in appropriate internal and external status meetings

  • Maintain the team’s portion of the “work plan” (e.g., resource assignment changes, schedule changes, completion status, etc)

  • Approve team member time sheets – actuals, schedule, identify the source of any variances, and drive plans to correct variances

  • Schedule, assign, and track deliverable signoffs for deliverables owned by the team – approvers/reviewers, peer reviews, audits, etc

  • Identify continuous improvement and productivity improvement opportunities – maximize reuse, minimize redundancy, streamline, drive 1:M, etc.

  • Participate in the creation of team deliverables as appropriate

  • Serve as process expert / coach for the team’s owned standard deliverables – optimize for the supported capability group type, etc.

  • Drive methods adoption and act as experts in how to create the deliverables most cost effectively

  • Facilitate sharing of best practices – Identify and drive productivity improvements

  • Submit roster changes to Business Management Office. Manage roll-offs, role changes, roll-ons, etc

  • Support recruiting and interviewing potential new team members

  • Balance workloads and skill sets across clients to support 1:M delivery

  • Manage and develop team business/domain/application/platform/technical competency coverage – cross training, succession planning

  • Monitor and manage team goals and performance

  • Cross train for better multi client support

  • Develop and mentor people, act as a career counselor and create a high performing organization (foster relationships, resolve conflicts, etc.)

  • Develop and deliver performance feedback – collect input from others.

  • Participate / lead special initiatives
