As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective application designs. The position demands continuous engagement in refining application functionalities to ensure they support evolving business objectives, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality software that integrates seamlessly within the existing environment.

- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software solutions with business goals.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level human capital management solutions.
- Experience in analyzing complex business processes and translating them into technical requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within integrated software environments.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
