In this role, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer or equivalent who will act as a bridge between overhead and underground power line projects (Low, Medium, and High Voltage) and Backoffice activities, ensuring the correct transfer of design, planning, and execution into the systems in compliance with regulations, quality standards, and client requirements.
The candidate will report to the Contract Manager and collaborate in organizing teams and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical relationship with the client, resolving issues and ensuring service satisfaction.
- Review electrical projects (reports, drawings, electrical and mechanical calculations, and budgets), applying technical knowledge across the team’s activities.
- Develop and optimize work procedures, proposing continuous improvements in processes, tools, and technical solutions to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Report deadlines, risks, and compliance with economic and quality objectives.
- Train and provide technical support to the team, promoting best practices and professional development.
Requisitos
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Higher Education in Electrical Engineering (minimum Level 6 QNQ and EQF), preferably in the energy field or equivalent (minimum 3 years of experience).
- Professional license from the Portuguese Engineers Association or Technical Engineers Association (Electrotechnics college).
- More than 5 years of experience in energy network management.
- More than 5 years of management experience (preferably in Power Distribution Networks).
- Proven technical knowledge of LV networks and HV/MV (≥60 kV), both overhead and underground, as well as substations and switching stations.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures for electrical networks.
- Experience with project management tools / ERP (SAP desirable).
- Ability to plan, manage deadlines, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in SAP (user level) and specific georeferencing software (Google Earth, QGIS, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Leadership skills, goal orientation, and analytical capacity.
- Strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
- Languages: Portuguese (native), high level of English and Spanish.
