Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Commvault Backup Engineer. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining enterprise-level backup and recovery environments using Commvault. We are looking for professionals with advanced knowledge in backup policy design, retention strategies, and restore procedures.

Qualifications
More than 5 years of hands-on experience managing Commvault environments (v11.x or later).
Advanced knowledge in backup policy design, retention strategies, and restore procedures.
Strong experience administering backup operations in enterprise environments.
Solid understanding of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
Deep expertise in database backups, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and backup failures.
Fluent in Portuguese, and advanced technical English.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain enterprise-level backup and recovery environments using Commvault.
Implement and enforce backup policies aligned with business continuity needs.
Monitor and optimize backup job performance and storage utilization.
Perform full and granular data restorations, including disaster recovery operations.
Manage Commvault agents for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other enterprise applications.
Coordinate patching, upgrades, and changes in the backup infrastructure.
Resolve incidents and technical issues related to backup failures and system performance.
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure data protection standards.
Document technical procedures and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with hybrid or cloud-based backup solutions.
Knowledge of data lifecycle management and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with scripting for automation and reporting in backup environments.
Intermediate to advanced Spanish.
