Matthew Robinson is the managing director of policy research at Accenture Research. He focuses on innovation in markets, industries and corporate and public policy. His teams’ recent work looks at digital readiness, business agility, location strategy, new growth drivers, open business models, and the interplay of business with the public and social sectors.
Robinson’s articles have appeared in Rotman Management, The Guardian, The European Business Review, and the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
An experienced facilitator of strategic dialogue with boards, CEOs, and executive teams from all industry sectors, he leads one bespoke client workshop each month in Accenture’s London Innovation Centre.
Before joining the Institute in 2006, he was a consultant in Accenture Strategy, specializing in M&A and divestments for clients in the utilities, energy and chemical industries. Prior to Accenture, he was an advisor to a UK Member of Parliament. He holds a master’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Oxford. He is based in London.
