As Accenture’s chief marketing + communications officer—North America, Ginny leads a team of talented professionals focused on fueling growth in the United States, the company’s largest market, and Canada. Ginny is responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing and communications strategies that drive category brand positioning, enable sales, improve people engagement, foster inclusion and diversity and attract talent. Ginny serves on Accenture’s Global Leadership Council, North America Leadership Team and its Marketing and Communications Leadership Team. She is passionate about championing programs for equality, inclusion and diversity at Accenture and within communities.
Since 2007, Ginny has held marketing and communications leadership roles across Accenture’s cloud, cyber, technology consulting and infrastructure outsourcing businesses. In her most recent role—managing director, marketing & communications, office of the chief strategy officer, innovation and security—she led an international team to develop comprehensive, global marketing strategies that helped position the company as an innovation leader. She also created programs that transformed Accenture Security into a global market leader and co-led Accenture’s extensive thought leadership program.
Ginny has 30 years of experience guiding strategic marketing and communications for some of the world's leading business and technology brands including Compaq/HPE, Deutsche Bank, EDS, Gartner, General Motors, IBM, IDG, Intuit, Microsoft, MIT, NCR, Sun, Philips and Xerox PARC.
Based in San Francisco, Ginny was named as one of the most influential women in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times in 2020. She is also an advocate for music and arts education and serves as executive board director and vice president of marketing for the San Francisco Opera Guild. In that role, she helps guide the non-profit organization’s marketing strategy to help bring award-winning arts education programs to more than 64,000 Bay-area K-12 students, teaching them life lessons that help them grow into creative, conscientious and culturally aware adults.
Ginny was born and raised in the UK, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with joint honors in modern languages, literature and linguistics (French and Spanish) from the University of Bristol. She also attended the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain and Université Paris Sorbonne. In parallel, Ginny trained and worked as a classical singer.
