Gianfranco Casati is the chairman of Growth Markets at Accenture, working with key clients and advising Accenture client teams across Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
Previously, Gianfranco was CEO-Growth Markets from 2014 to 2022. Prior to that he was group chief executive of Accenture's Products group, which served clients in the air, freight & travel services; automotive; consumer goods and services; industrial equipment; infrastructure and transportation services; life sciences; and retail industries.
Gianfranco has also served as managing director of Accenture’s Products group in Europe. He also served as country managing director for Italy and chairman of Accenture's geographic council in its IGEM (Italy, Greece and emerging markets) region.
Gianfranco has frequently contributed to thought leadership in international and regional publications on subjects related to emerging economies, digital transformation, innovation portfolios and “wise pivots,” and has spoken at major global business events, including the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting and the Milken Institute’s Asia Summit.
Gianfranco joined Accenture in 1984 and became a partner in 1994. He holds a degree in economics from Pavia University in Italy.
