As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that solutions remain aligned with evolving business goals and technical standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges that impact project delivery and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Experience with requirement gathering techniques including stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation.
- Ability to work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies to support iterative delivery.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
