Must Have Skills:
Internal Controls Experience: The most important requirement is strong experience in internal controls, including designing, implementing, and managing controls programs. Experience in internal audit or corporate compliance is highly valued.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with senior leadership and manage relationships with key stakeholders is important.
• ISO Experience: Having some experience or knowledge of ISO certification, standards or management system controls, would be a major benefit in this role.
• Relevant Backgrounds: Candidates may come from audit, compliance, ISO certification/governance, information security, or data privacy backgrounds, as there is overlap with the required controls experience. A legal background is not mandatory but can be considered.
• AI Literacy (Nice to Have): Some knowledge of AI, data, or responsible AI is a plus, but deep technical expertise in AI or generative AI tooling is not required.
• Business Analysis (Nice to Have): Business analysis experience would likely be helpful in this role, but is not a core requirement.
Regulations and Standards (Nice to Have): Knowledge of data and AI regulations, compliance, and standards is considered a bonus, not essential.
Experience (Proven Experience):
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in government/legislative development bodies, regulators, standards bodies
Background and experience in Accenture processes, particularly use of MMS and the NBM process
Essential to have some experience of work including the following skillsets: Business analysis, AI and GenAI tooling for efficiency, Compliance/ change exercises, Scripting (python), Dashboarding etc.

Job Summary:
The Compliance Controls Analyst will within the Quality Management and Controls function, specifically on vendor assessment. The team has been given a unique mandate to ensure Accenture acts as responsibly when we buy AI as we do when we build it. This ongoing capability has had to be built from scratch, and is a market first – providing AI assessment and assurance across 40k vendors globally. This role will report into Delivery leadership in the team responsible for executing assessment on our global vendor pool, establishing false negative testing, routine reporting and deploying innovative use of tools to ensure our team delivers on objectives. Working in a truly global team and with stakeholders across Accenture’s business you will gain experience in building and designing new capabilities with no blueprint, and experience a team culture of mutual support, success, embracing diversity in skills and thinking.
In Your Role You Will Be Expected To:
The work:
- Reporting directly into the L6 leading our Global Controls programme, and our Reporting lead;
- Design, stand up and maintain an approach to false negative test MMS inputs for AI
- Specifically identify and address instances of AI being mis-reported in MMS, and in collaboration with key stakeholders and others from various teams, support design and implementation of a range of interventions from education to enforcement drives to mitigate this
This role will support other controls-related work, as needed.
Preferred candidates will demonstrate some background in consulting or relevant industries, with especially desirable skillsets including:
- Experience in government/legislative development bodies, regulators, standards bodies, in designing and implementing operating models, risk management controls, governance structures and controls in any of these areas, or multilateral collaborative groups
- Background and experience in Accenture processes, particularly use of MMS and the NBM process
- Experience in corporate governance and risk management
- Experience with procurement and global vendor management
- Experience in more regulated industries such as FS or H&PS
- As a member of a corporate team focused on Responsible AI
- As an academic focused not just on the theory but also on the practical application of Responsible AI
- Experience developing comms for senior stakeholders
