Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Transactional Attorney (she/he/they)

Join Accenture’s global M&A Legal Team that has supported Accenture’s deployment of over $8 billion in strategic acquisitions over the last several years
Serve as the EMEA legal lead for a senior team of experienced M&A attorneys supporting complex M&A and strategic investment transactions within a fast-paced corporate environment. Advise senior company leadership directly on legal issues, including risk management and mitigation.
THE WORK:
Lead a team of M&A attorneys supporting Accenture’s M&A and strategic investment transactions across EMEA, motivated to embrace new opportunities
Serve as lead attorney in complex M&A transactions, collaborating with senior executives and thriving on continuous advancement in strategic negotiations
Strategize with executives and lead negotiations alongside Accenture’s corporate development team, managing both in-house and external legal resources
Oversee drafting, review, and coordination of transaction documents, legal due diligence, and post-closing matters such as claims and disputes
Commitment to constant progress by staying updated on business and legal developments impacting Accenture and the consulting, technology, and outsourcing sectors.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree and JD (or equivalent) from top law school
Active bar membership/local equivalent
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience practicing as an attorney with a national or international law firm and/or in-house legal department
Substantial experience advising on multi-jurisdictional M&A, including acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures and equity investments
Strong preference for experience advising strategic buyers
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong executive presence
Excellent English language oral and written communication skills
Sound judgment and business acumen
Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
