Intelligent Consulting Hub (ICH) Energy Team is providing innovative, industry-specific business and technology consulting services to clients in Energy Downstream, Upstream, Fuel Retail and Utilities areas. We believe that data analytics tools combined with state-of-the-art system infrastructure are the foundation for the intelligent enterprise: from the wellhead, through the forecourt to the boardroom. Join our team as Data & Analytics Innovation Analyst for the Energy Industry to participate in bringing to live business solutions based on latest Cloud Technologies and Analytics Tools.
Our Analysts exhibit positive can-do attitude and are willing to test themselves across variety of Data & Analytics projects, spanning likes of Data Strategy, Governance, Migration, Integration and Consolidation, Data Warehousing and Data Lake Implementation, Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting. The Analysts have excellent communication skills and excel in passive and active listening to quickly build deep understanding of client challenges. THE WORK:
From the day one you will have an opportunity to test yourself working for the top industry players under guidance of senior colleagues (data analysts, engineers and scientists, solution architects and industry subject matter experts). You will be supporting your project team by performing foundational work in preparing data sets, conducting preliminary analyses, and contributing to larger data-driven initiatives.
You will be working with variety of structured and unstructured data coming from highly differentiated sources. These sources include, but are not limited to, enterprise systems like ERP’s and CRM’s; industry-specific domain systems for Upstream, Downstream, Retail and Utilities; and auxiliary data from 3rd party providers or manually compiled data sets.
Your scope of work will span: Data Collection, Extraction, and Profiling to ensure data integrity and quality; Data Cleaning, Transformation, and Mapping to identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors; Data Quality Assurance to ensure best in class outputs; Reporting and Visualization by creating clear, insightful reports and dashboards; Database and Data Management to ensure proper organization and accessibility; Documentation of processes, mappings and transformations to ensure data practices are reproducible, transparent, and compliant; Testing, Validation and Issue Resolution to assure that expected business outcomes are met.
You will be continuously learning data analysis and migration tools, methodologies, and industry trends, including rapid on-the-job learning. You will develop proficiency in query and transformation tools (SQL, Python, R), ETL tools, visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView) and any other relevant software to support evolving project needs.
You will be open to stepping out of Data & Analytics role to support other external and internal initiatives at Accenture and our Clients and learn about the sheer variety of the work we do.
Flexible: We are delivering our work mostly remotely but knowing that Intelligent Consulting Hub Europe (ICH) way of working is also based on traveling and serving advisory, typically working closely with our Clients in their offices, willingness and ability to work at client’s locations mostly across Europe, but also other locations, for short or long term is still required.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Strong motivation to work in consulting related to Digital Transformation.
Curiosity and openness to work on differentiated portfolio of projects and enthusiastically learn new technologies every time it is needed to serve the Client.
At lease foundational experience in data visualization (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud) and/or foundational experience in data analytics (e.g., MS Azure, AWS, SAP Business Warehouse), together with understanding concepts of IT development lifecycle.
Willingness to join Accenture as a junior professional and develop your career with us while performing demanding tasks.
Excellent written and verbal English skills (min. C1), effective communication, inclusive and open-minded, reliable, team player, strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency (min. C1) in other language, mainly German or French, will be a strong asset.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience or educational background in the resources industry (e.g., Energy, Power Generation, Chemicals, Utilities, Natural Resources, Mining).
Experience working with or knowledge of data objects in SAP will be a strong asset.
Few years of working experience working in data analytics (especially SQL, Python, R) and/or visualization (especially PowerBI, incl. DAX and M).
