What will you do:
Design, build and operationalize large scale enterprise data solutions and applications using Azure services in combination with 3rd parties - Spark, EMR, DynamoDB, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue
Analyze, re-architect and re -platform on-premises data warehouses to data platforms on Azure cloud using Azure or 3rd party services.
Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala.
Analyze current business practices, processes, and procedures as well as identify relevant Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services
Design and implement data engineering, ingestion and curation functions on Azure cloud using Azure native or custom programming.
Perform detail assessments of current state data platforms and create an appropriate transition path to Azure cloud.Optimize data systems and build these from scratch.
Support software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives.
Ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
Throughout the blueprint process engage in the development of defense strategies, combining technology and user behavior, to ensure the security of your client
Work closely alongside the client and internal teams of professionals to develop innovative solutions based on their roadmaps, through mediums such as robotics and artificial intelligence.
Qualifications
What do we expect from you?
Between 2-6 years working experience
Has experience in any of the following:Azure ARM Templates,Glue Pyspark, EMR, DynamoDB, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Snowflake and CI/CD using Azure DevOps
Knowledge of Azure Data & Analytics PaaS Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks
Experienced in Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics and Azure SQL DB
Proficient in S3, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB
An aspiration to fulfill a role as an Expert/Architect on leading technical projects
Experience in Java and Python
Internal/external advisory/consulting experience
An excellent communicator and good personal skills
Demonstrated client management and relationship skills
Fluent English (Level C2 as per the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR))
Educational Qualification
Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Recommended Certifications
Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate or another associate level certification would be an added advantage
