Job Description
Oracle Database Administrator
We are looking for the person who will join team of database experts supporting our client in large scale project focused on database and underlaying architecture. You will be working in international team on long-term project for one of the leaders in automotive sector. With other experts in a team, you will be responsible for administration and support of databases and related infrastructure.
What will you do:
Perform database administration and maintenance;
Support day to day activities like database refresh, schema refresh, update and patching, etc.;
Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle DB;
Monitor database performance and perform tuning and optimization;
Provide operational support for ongoing processes.
Qualifications
What do we expect from you:
2+ years of experience as Oracle DBA;
Experience in database maintenance tasks (db refresh, backup and restore (RMAN, DataPump), update and patching, user maintenance, space management, etc.);
Good understanding of databases and underlying infrastructure;
Working knowledge in SQL;
Experience in Linux environment;
Working knowledge in performance analysis and tuning;
Fluent English (documentation reading/writing, daily communication in English).
Nice to have:
Experience in Oracle EM;
Experience in database migration;
Experience in architecture planning;
Experience in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.);
Experience in database upgrade;
Understanding of DR and replication concepts (GoldenGate, Data Guard).
