Accenture Operations provides business process services for specific functions, including finance and accounting, procurement and supply chain, and marketing & sales. We operate business processes with a combination of talent and data, artificial intelligence, analytics, and digital technologies, helping clients to improve their productivity, customer experience and performance.
Role Overview:
As an RTR Accountant, you will be responsible for executing general ledger accounting operations in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP), SOX controls, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Post financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP, SOX)
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Monitor and justify outstanding items
Collaborate with internal and external audit teams
Use analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, ML, Gen AI) to identify trends and risks
Qualifications
Requirements:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience in RTR or GL accounting
Proficiency in English
German (minimum B2 level) would be a plus
Basic knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP, SOX)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proactive problem-solving attitude
