What will you do?
Deploy, maintain and support networking technologies to provide business connectivity needs, with use of the equipment of vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto.Primary areas of focus will include: routing and switching, wireless, quality of service, VPN/security, network capacity planning, and proactive network health and performance management.
Mostly you will be responsible for:
·Provide Tier2 and Tier 3 operational support including on-call and troubleshooting of network performance and capacity for deployed solutions.
·Participate in deployment projects and implementation of comprehensive changes in the infrastructure.
·Establish expertise in several of the functional areas of network performance and application delivery solutions and services and develop a working knowledge of the remaining functional areas.
·Participate in discussions with other Enterprise Architecture organizations regarding service requirements and development of the network strategy.
·Contribute to development of KX capital (job aids, deployment guides, configuration generators etc.).
What we do expect from you?
·At least 6 years in networking technologies including operational support, design and deployment.
·Practitioner of processes in ITIL methodology.
·Certifications: Cisco Professional level (CCNP|CCDP|CCSP), Juniper Specialist or Professional level (JNCIS|JNCIP), Aruba Associate or Professional (ACMA|ACMP). Certifications on expert level are desirable but not essential.
·Very good knowledge of English (technical and business).
·Strong hands-on experience in area of Routing, Switching, Wireless, Quality of Service and Security/VPN
·Programming/scripting skills (Python, PERL etc.) are desirable but not required.
·Project Management / work coordination skills.
