The Solution Specialist supports Senior Solution Architects, OADMs and BPO Sales Leads during the end to end solutioning process of a new sales opportunity.
He/she will be responsible for various aspects of the solution development including, but not limited to;
- Solution design support
- Costing input and analysis
- Support the deal getting through the various internal approval process
- Response development and operations support
This role may require travel to client sites or other Accenture offices to work with the deal team and client directly as needed but the aim is to operate as much as possible as a remote role.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide direct support to geography based Solution Architects including RFP Support, data template gathering and analysis, solution plan support, CDP updates, Quality Assurance (QA) process documentation.
  • Understand and translate requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings
  • Preparing the BD spend estimate, schedule, work plan, resource/sourcing plan
  • Support RFP response working with SSRT through data template gathering, content consolidation, analysis, tailoring to client requirements, etc...
  • Create/assist with solution plan development and maintenance with input from Solution Lead including assumptions log, risk and issue captures
  • Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates, drive cost estimating through enabling tools with input from Solution Lead and provide Quality Audit of costing outcome
  • Identify and gather relevant benchmarking data (process, capacity, etc…)
  • Participate with Solution Lead in discussion with SDO, mobilization, technology during solutioning process as solution evolves, updating Solution Plan and other documents as required.
  • Collaborating as a key member of the Solution Development team to represent the solution offering to internal Accenture groups
  • Create/assist with materials for all reviews including QA, BPO and OG including any meeting notes and action items with input from Solution Lead
  • Assist during due diligence with data gathering and analysis as needed
  • Provide process/tools “how to” support to SA
  • Aligning solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final terms and conditions

  • Minimum of 3 years domain experience
  • Finance, Commerce or Business Graduates or equivalent
  • Strong process knowledge of PTP/OTC/RTR process
  • Marketing, Business or Digital Graduates
  • Engineering Graduates / Graduates with additional certification in the field of Supply Chain Management / Logistics
  • Demand Forecasting, Pricing Elasticity, Assortment Analytics
  • Good understanding of offering strategy, the standard solution components, the likely adaptations of the solution, as well as knowledge of recent deals/solutions and changes that were made to the standard
  • Ability to clearly articulate the solution…being able to explain the solution in simple terms
  • Understanding of what we can deliver so can solution it appropriately
  • Customer Service oriented, excellent interpersonal, coaching and influencing/negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline driven, virtual environment
  • Aptitude for working with Excel and other financial tools
  • Proficient in creating power point presentation to articulate in Solution both in crisp summarize mode as well as detailed.


  • Experience in, or understanding of the majority of:
  • Digital B2C and B2B Marketing
  • Marketing campaign planning, delivery and management (to include traditional and digital elements)
  • Digital content (aka  e-content) creation, content management (including functional understanding of Content Management System CMS), content production, delivery and launch
  • Consumer marketing website and/or eCommerce website design, creation, launch and run.
  • Consumer-facing social media activity including listening, reporting, interaction and marketing campaigns.
  • Multi-channel customer relationship management CRM, including customer service interactions and customer data analytics and segmentation.
  • Marketing and website analytics, reporting and optimzation
  • Search engine marketing (Search Engine Optimization SEO, and paid Search Engine Marketing SEM)
  • Mobile marketing including mobile-optimized websites and mobile device apps
