The Business Strategy Manager applies deep business strategy development, architecting value and operating model architecture skills to influence client agendas through business insight.  Partners with our clients to make bold decisions on priority C-Suite issues at the intersection of business, technology and operations.  Provides deep understanding of our clients' industry landscape and business options in the context of global, economic, technology and social trends.

    • Managing consulting engagements and project teams serving as the primary interface with senior executives at client organizations
    • Leading workstreams as part of major business programmes and be responsible for rigorous analysis, to identify and validate value creation opportunities for our clients
    • Typically work within project teams designing business strategies, operating models, market propositions, pricing strategies and cost efficiency strategies
    • Develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings, typically to C-level clients
    • Coaching and mentoring analysts and consultants on the team
    • Support efforts such as recruitment, training and thought leadership

 Working Conditions:         
  • Headquarter: Warsaw as primary place of work.
  • Willing & able to travel min. 50% of time (annually) - travel is required to work for global multinationals & teams with projects predominantly based at client headquarters (mostly in major European capitals, but also other locations for short or long term).
  • Projects based in Europe typically require Monday to Thursday at client site with weekly flybacks;
  • Flexible - Remote work is an option and it is depending on the assignment and project arrangement.

  • Minimum Master's degree, postgraduate, MBA preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) and good level of the other foreign language e.g. German, Italian, French, Spanish would be strong asset
  • Experienced manager with strong conceptual and interpersonal skills, with a key role in building the Strategy practice in Poland
  • Minimum 5 years of consulting (must) experience working on multiple strategy projects in following areas:
    • Mergers and Acquisitions
    • Operating Model Strategy 
    • Sales and Marketing Strategy 
    • Strategic Cost Reduction 
    • Strategic Planning and Growth
    • Market Evaluation
    • Investment Appraisal
    • Trading and Risk Management Strategy
    • Performance Evaluation (Asset / Business / Individual)
    • Functional expertise in Growth / Business Strategy, Digital Strategy & Operating Model; Commercial (Consumer Goods) or
    • Functional expertise in Pricing / Promotion / Assortment / Format Strategy; Multi-channel strategy; Commercial Analytics (Retail)
    • Experience in retail or consumer goods consulting and/or strategy / marketing roles in industry
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Designing business and go-to-market strategies, designing operating models and market propositions (market sizing and analysis, competitor benchmarks, company’s positioning etc.)
  • Driving value realisation as part of business transformations and developing pricing strategies
  • Be responsible for rigorous analysis, to identify and validate value creation opportunities
  • Develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings, typically to C-level clients
  • A high degree of comfort with strategy frameworks and strong quantitative skills to develop financial or operational models and supervise data analysis
  • Experience in financial modelling and demonstrated understanding of financial statements
  • Evidence of quantitative analysis skills to develop financial models and perform statistical analysis and willingness to learn quantitative methods and approaches to solving business problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multi-cultural teams to deliver high-quality output in short timeframes
