Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage, support and deliver PTP process activities such as below in required quantity and quality:
    • invoice processing,
    • payments, reconciliations,
    • purchase order administration,
    • P-Card administration,
    • master data administration 
    • communication with internal/ external parties
    • query resolution
    • supplier performance reporting
    • Month-end closing activities
    • Documentation maintenance and archiving
  • Manage, develop and lead teams operating in the activities above
  • Be accountable for delivering agreed contractual and business results – operational, financial and business metrics
  • Drive efforts to continuously improve and optimize Procure To Pay processes and procedures to enable organizational priorities and to optimize internal services and overall operating cost base
  • Continuously drive and improve the Procure To Pay process model and the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) tool design and help ensure consistent application of standard global and local processes
  • Define, support and propose the design and maintenance of the Procure To Pay process model and the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) tool design and help ensure consistent application of standard global and local processes
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert to implement best practices for tools and processes
  • Participate in projects or initiatives which improve the Procure To Pay processes or the applications used to support them
  • Drive collaboration and production support across Accenture’s global network. This includes global support to end users including answering questions, delivering training, facilitating the transition to latest tool releases from current tools and sharing best practices
  • Drive and improve the maintenance and development of Procure To Pay procedures, and internal controls which are related to their process
  • Provide and drive status of work in process, assist in planning and coordinating execution of work, escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner while pushing to identify resolutions
  • Support the creation of business cases and service performance metrics reports, as required
  • Coordinate with internal controls to ensure that Procure To Pay processes and procedures support the achievement of Accenture internal control objectives as well as support corporate citizenship requirements (align to policies on the subject of anti-corruption, business continuity, sustainability, diversity and client data protection)
  • Actively collaborate/ communicate with internal and external Accenture and client teams

  • Advanced communication skills in English
  • Approx. 5 years of working experience in the field PTP processes
  • Min. 3 years of people management experience
  • Master degree in accountancy or shared service experience is a plus
  • Highly developed analytical skills and ability to work within a problem solving environment  
  • MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential; ERP literacy is desirable (Oracle)
  • Excellent business writing skills, proficient in report writing, business correspondence and procedure manuals 
  • Good collaborative skills allowing to effectively manage the relationship with the key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Good planning and execution skills
  • Very good communicator on all levels and in all directions
  • Proactivity in identifying potential improvements
  • Flexibility required to interact with and manage a broad range of stakeholders, competing priorities and changing environment
  • Passion and willingness to learn and deliver through Operational Excellence
  • Knowledge of other foreign language will be an asset
