Campus Challenge 2017

Terms and Conditions

Accenture, Inc. (“Accenture”) is holding a student competition called “Program the Future: The Accenture Technology Campus Challenge” (“Competition”), which calls on participants to create artiicial intelligence (AI) applications or software that simpliies interaction and improves experience. The Competition will be held from April to August 2017.

Registration Guidelines

  • The Competition is open to (1) Students taking up Science, Technology, Engineering or other related courses in any college or university in the Philippines and (2) Fresh graduates with a bachelor’s degree in any of the aforementioned courses, who have less than or equal to one year work experience and are not currently employed by or ailiated with any company. Participants should be at least 18 years old at the time of registration. Employees, oicers and directors of Accenture, or any of its ailiates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, public relations, advertising, promotion, marketing and fulilment agencies, and members of their immediate family or household, are not eligible to participate in the Competition. For this purpose, an ‘immediate family member’ is defined as a parent, spouse, child, sibling or any person residing in the same household as the employee. Accenture reserves the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of the entrant/participant, or to require proof of eligibility, as may be needed.

  • The Registration period is from April 1 to June 15, 2017.

  • To participate, a team with a minimum of two (2) and maximum of four (4) members must enter and submit the required information on the registration page. All required information must appear on the registration form.

  • Registration forms will not be accepted after the deadline on June 15, 2017. Incomplete, false, erroneous, fraudulent, forged or tampered forms will not be considered. Misrepresentation of age and other forms of dishonesty are grounds for automatic disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes.

  • A confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent to participants to acknowledge registration. After confirmation, Accenture will only entertain or allow changes to team membership until June 15, 2017, provided that changes are limited to the replacement of one (1) team member, and all eligibility requirements are met.

  • Accenture has the sole / exclusive discretion to determine Competition eligibility and validity of registration

  • By registering for the Competition, participants/teams signify their acceptance of all its terms and conditions.

Competition Guidelines
The Competition is divided into three (3) phases.

  • Participants are required to register for the Competition before submitting their respective entries / proposal. Accenture Screening Committee will pre-screen all the entries and will choose the best ideas that will advance to the next round.

  • Teams will be requested to submit a proposal that describes their project and makes the case for why their team should be invited in a 10-min Pitch / Presentation in one of the Accenture offices. Proposal should be in a form of a PowerPoint + 2-min Video Presentation in WMV or MP4 format. Content of their project pitches should cover the following:

    • Background of the issue being addressed
    • Title and Description of Proposed Idea
    • Goal and Objective of the Project
    • Wireframe of the Game or Application
    • Resources
    • Timeline

  • At this stage, all entries will be evaluated based on the following:

    • INNOVATION (40%)
    • INTELLIGENCE (30%)
    • IMPACT (30%)

Note: Schedule of activities will be announced once final.


GRAND CHAMPION The GRAND CHAMPION will win a Trip to visit the Accenture Lab in Bangalore, India plus, a paid-internship at Accenture Liquid Studio in Manila, Philippines. Other prizes are as follows:
  • Program the Future 2017 Grand Champion Trophy
  • Individual Glass Medals / Team & Coaches
  • Cash prize of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (PHP 250,000)
  • Cash prize of PHP 50,000 for the department/college

  Furthermore, all team finalists will each take home a cash prize of twenty thousand pesos (PHP 20,000).
  • Winners will be announced and awarded in August 2017.
  • The prizes will only be awarded after the winners have signed the Winner’s Declaration and Release.
  • Prizes indicated above are net of tax.
  • Each winner will be solely responsible for complying with any and all applicable laws, rules and regulations relating to the prize and for bearing any personal income tax, withholding tax, VAT or other taxes arising from receiving, claiming or collecting the prize.
  • Accenture may request winners to provide proof of identity for verification purposes
