What you will do

  • Able to develop and implement asset management strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps aligned with industry best practices (e.g., ISO 55000).

  • Developing and Implementing Asset Management Plans for clients in utilities industry from strategically managing physical assets (like power plants, transmission lines, and renewable energy installations) to maximize their value, ensure reliability, and optimize operations while controlling costs

  • Plan and design for the long-term needs of utilities clients based on their infrastructure, customer demands, existing capabilities, and potential for future growth.

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Asset management encompasses all stages of an asset's life, from initial planning and design to operation, maintenance, and eventual replacement or retirement.

  • Optimizing performance and reliability for clients by minimizing risks and costs.

  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with asset failure, safety hazards, and environmental impacts.

  • Balancing performance, risk, and cost to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective asset management practices.

Your Experience

  • Experience with asset management software and digital solutions (e.g., EAM/CMMS systems like SAP, Maximo, Oracle; predictive maintenance platforms; IoT solutions).

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Asset Management Assessor - CAMA, Certified Reliability Leader - CRL) are a plus

  • A university degree in Business is required and candidates typically also have an MA, MSc, MBA or PhD degree.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Utilities industry or consulting for the industry

  • Strong proven track record in end-to-end Asset Management Lifecycle Management in utilities industry

  • Experience in shaping and lead engagements in areas like utilities or energy

  • Problem solving structuring, issue identification, data gathering and analysis, synthesis and recommendation development Board / CEO level communication skills, both written and oral in English

  • Business judgement, including understanding of client organizations and dynamics

  • Client interaction skills, maturity and empathy, and ability to work effectively within a consulting team

  • Demonstrated leadership potential and drive

  • Strong, well-structured communication skills, both written and oral, including in English
