Summary:
The Global Workplace Fire Safety Associate Manager is a key leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our fire safety strategies and programs on a global scale. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and protection of our employees, assets, and facilities by effectively managing fire safety risks, compliance, and response procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fire Safety Strategy: Refine and implement Accenture’s comprehensive global fire safety strategy, including policies, procedures, and guidelines, that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international fire safety codes, regulations, and standards in all locations where Accenture operates.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct fire risk assessments at various company facilities, identifying potential hazards and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Training and Education: Develop/enhance and deliver fire safety training programs for employees and contractors, fostering a culture of fire safety awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
- Emergency Response Planning: Establish and maintain effective emergency response plans and procedures for fire incidents, ensuring that all employees are well-prepared to respond to emergencies.
- Fire Protection Systems: Evaluate, recommend, and oversee the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems, such as fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems, at company sites.
- Data and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on fire safety performance metrics and incidents, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for fire safety initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety.

Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications in fire safety, such as Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in fire safety management, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Project management and task prioritization skills
- Performing stakeholder management and relationship building, particularly across virtual, cross cultural and all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and drive own work area, as well as be a team player.
