Workplace Service Delivery Specialist
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
Ensures Workplace adheres to legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements. S/he helps mitigate risks, develop compliance programs and conduct audits to ensure ethical and legal business practices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards (e.g. BCMS, EMS or any system of focus)
- Policy Development: Assist in drafting, updating and enforcing corporate policies and procedures (e.g. Workplace Resilience Strategies etc) to align with legal and ethical guidelines and local and global standards
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Training & Awareness: Conduct compliance training for employees and ensure awareness of regulatory and ethical obligations
- Auditing & Monitoring: Perform internal audits and reviews to assess compliance with policies and regulations
- Root Cause Analysis: Partner with applicable stakeholder to conduct Root Cause Analysis on compliance-related complaints or incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Incident Response & Crisis Management: Establish protocols for emergency response, including communication plans and recovery procedures
- Reporting: Maintain records of compliance activities and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external partners to integrate compliance efforts (e.g. resiliency efforts etc) across
- Liaison: Act as a point of contact between the company and regulatory agency or functions, ensuring timely communication and reporting
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on changing regulations and industry best practices to enhance the compliance program
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance or a related field
- Experience in compliance, risk management, legal or corporate governance roles
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks – ISO standards like ISO22301, ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO45001, OSHA, SOX, GDR, JAC, RBA, SSAE etc
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and training abilities
- Attention to detail and ethical decision making
- Experience with compliance software and reporting tools is a plus
