JOB SUMMARY:
Mobility is responsible for the day- to-day service delivery of Mobility services in connection with assigned population of personnel traveling to various countries. The Tax Associate Manager needs to assist travelers going on cross border assignments on permanent or temporary basis with their relocation taxation needs. The main job responsibility is Manage the team working on tax cost estimate, tax filing at the tax year end and resolve queries from travelers or project managers on day-to-day base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with all stakeholders (Global Careers Program, Destination Country Mobility Teams), Tax service Providers
- Conduct Performance Review for the team members and provide timely feedback
- Maximum proximity to the current immigration changes and policies with deep understanding of tax, engagement model etc.
- Review team report of the team members
- Work efficiently & proactively with respective team leads, for continuous improvement efforts to enable efficient mobility that might include streamlining process execution, leveraging tools & metrics & evolving operational trainings based on ongoing experience, feedback from stakeholders, remediation & improvement plans.
- Understand global as well as local relocation & transfer policies & assist travelers in understanding the policies
- Accountable for ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax service, and meeting all deliverable requirements
- Manage escalations and Assist travelers on social tax & personal income tax applicability in host country
- Monitor the Team SLA and performance. Drive Metrics and performance scorecard
- Work with the team members to continuously improve processes and systems
- Perform any projects/activities assigned by the lead and is also capable to contribute independently
- Participate in local & global special projects; act as change agent for local/functional implementations, innovation initiatives & technology enablement.
Role in Accenture
The individual will manage the team handling end to end tax operations for Philippine inbound and outbound travelers/assignees. Success will be measured in partnership with various teams - Mobility Market Units Service Teams, Cross Border Finance team, Tax Vendors, Client Financial Service Team, Employee Tax Team etc.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:
- 6 years minimum related experience to Tax, Finance or Accounting
- Min of 2-3 years People Management experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Adaptability to work well under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Willingness to experiment, improve and adapt to change.
- Ability to work collaborative in a cross-cultural team.
- High English proficiency – verbal and written
- Self-starter, critical-thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office software (particularly Word / Excel / PPT)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of project management like PMP
Good to Have:
- Having knowledge in Mobility – Cross Border Tax/Immigration/Assignments
