Azure Active Directory Security Engineer
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Azure Active Directory Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's cloud infrastructure and data. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Azure AD Identity and Access Management (IAM):
Designing, implementing, and managing Azure AD IAM solutions to enforce access controls and protect sensitive data.
Configuring and maintaining Azure AD Connect for hybrid identity management.
Implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access policies to enhance security.
Managing user provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
Security Assessments and Audits:
Conducting regular security assessments of Azure AD environments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
Assisting with compliance audits and certifications related to identity and access management.
Implementing security best practices and recommendations.
Threat Detection and Response:
Monitoring Azure AD logs and alerts for suspicious activity.
Investigating security incidents and responding to threats in a timely manner.
Developing and maintaining incident response plans.
Security Automation:
Leveraging automation tools and scripting to streamline security tasks and improve efficiency.
Implementing security automation workflows using Azure Automation or Azure Functions.
Security Awareness and Training:
Collaborating with IT and HR teams to develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Promoting a strong security culture within the organization.
Azure Security Engineer
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Azure Security Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization's cloud infrastructure and data by leveraging a variety of Azure security tools. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Security Tool Management:
Administering and maintaining Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for IoT, Microsoft Defender for Application Services, Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Azure Purview.
Configuring and tuning these tools to meet the organization's specific security needs.
Integrating these tools with other security systems and processes.
Threat Detection and Response:
Monitoring security alerts and incidents using Azure Sentinel and other tools.
Investigating security incidents and responding to threats in a timely manner.
Developing and maintaining incident response plans.
Security Assessments and Audits:
Conducting regular security assessments of Azure environments using Microsoft Defender for Cloud and other tools.
Assisting with compliance audits and certifications related to cloud security.
Implementing security best practices and recommendations.
Security Automation:
Leveraging automation tools and scripting to streamline security tasks and improve efficiency.
Implementing security automation workflows using Azure Automation or Azure Functions.
Security Awareness and Training:
Collaborating with IT and HR teams to develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.

Microsoft Active Directory Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, sites, and replication topologies.
Configure and maintain user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs) within Active Directory.
Implement and enforce group policies to manage user settings, permissions, and security configurations.
Troubleshoot Active Directory issues related to authentication, authorization, replication, and performance.
Design and implement Active Directory disaster recovery and backup strategies.
Provide technical support and guidance to users and administrators regarding Active Directory related issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Active Directory technologies and best practices.
Strong understanding of Active Directory security principles, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
Experience with implementing and managing Active Directory security features such as Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, and Rights Management Services (RMS).
Knowledge of common Active Directory security vulnerabilities and best practices for mitigating risks.
Experience with auditing and monitoring Active Directory activity for security purposes.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Azure Active Directory Security Engineer
Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in Azure Active Directory administration and security.
Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing Azure AD IAM solutions.
Experience with Azure AD Connect, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access policies.
Knowledge of identity and access management frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Azure AD architecture, components, and features.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
Azure Certified Security Engineer Associate
Azure Certified Identity and Access Management Associate
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with Azure Sentinel or other security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Knowledge of Azure Information Protection and Azure Key Vault.
Experience with cloud infrastructure security (e.g., Azure Security Center, Azure Firewall).
Azure Security Engineer
Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in Azure security engineering and administration.
Proven track record in using one or more of the following Microsoft Technology stack, such as: Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for IoT, Microsoft Defender for Application Services, Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Azure Purview.
Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Azure security tools and their capabilities.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts, such as threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
Azure Certified Security Engineer Associate
Azure Certified Security Specialist
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with other cloud security tools and platforms.
Knowledge of network security, application security, and data security.
Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
Microsoft Active Directory Engineer
3-5+ years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory services.
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in Microsoft Active Directory technologies (e.g., MCSE: Core Infrastructure, MCSA: Windows Server) is a plus.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and hybrid identity solutions.
Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
