Job Description

  • This role is responsible for the overall performance management of system including DB2 for z/OS, CICS for z/OS, and MQ for z/OS subsystems across multiple Sysplexes and CECS.
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of security on Mainframe by following the implementation of Security Standards and for RACF definitions and supports Mainframe Infrastructure.
  • Provides performance recommendations and regular Trend analysis (CPU/DASD).
  • Performs CPU report analysis (with CPU sizing recommendations)
  • Conducts technical diagnostics & performance analysis of IBM z/OS and maintains Security application and Security batch jobs.
  • Completes Daily/ Monthly/ Quarterly auditing tasks, daily system reviews.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or other relevant field
  • At least 5 years of IBM Z/OS Operating Systems experience.
  • Thorough experience in mainframe performance, capacity planning and mainframe security admin
  • Experience in System Administration or At least partial developer skills
  • Experience in Integration Consultants / SMEs technical specialist roles
  • Experience in Cobol and IBM DB2 Database Administration is a plus.
