Job Description

  • Act as a Subject Matter Advisor on the processes specifically developed / customized.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies and best practices, leveraging your programming skills in Java, SQL, and Python / Jython to enhance asset management functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather asset data, perform asset audits, and maintain accurate asset records in the IBM Maximo system.
  • Develop reports using BIRT / COGNOS (and any similar technologies) and SQL.
  • Provide support to end users on IBM Maximo functionality.
  • Design, configure, and customize workflow processes in IBM Maximo to streamline and automate business processes.
  • Develop and maintain workflow templates, rules, and escalation procedures, leveraging your programming skills to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the workflows.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance of workflow processes to validate functionality and ensure smooth operation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for workflow-related issues, working closely with the IT team and end users to resolve any problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably using the IBM Maximo Asset Management system.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and Python.
  • Knowledge of asset lifecycle management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in utilizing the IBM Maximo platform for asset management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
