Job Description

Splunk SME/Architect

Responsible for supporting Splunk environment, deployment and application monitoring solutions as they pertain to network, storage, integration, and cloud technologies and security applications; effectively planning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining Splunk platform, integrations, and related infrastructure within a mixed Windows, Linux, and Cloud environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, administration, and custom development (Splunk certified admin / architect / developer or equivalent experience) across Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Premium application
  • Splunk clustering, multisite setup, indexer and Search head clustering admin experience
  • Experience of Splunk end to end implementation and Splunk upgrade
  • Experience in onboarding new data - Understanding of data structure of files, SQL queries and API calls
  • Knowledgeable in shell scripting and related language execution (Powershell, Bash, Python,Ansible, etc.)
  • Strong technical experience in Linux and hand on Cloud Platforms like – AWS, Azure,
  • Troubleshooting Splunk performance issues
  • Capacity planning and optimization for Splunk infrastructure
  • Drive complex deployments of Splunk while working side by side with the customer to solve their unique problems across a variety of use cases
