Job Description

THE WORK:

  • Establishes scrum practices and values within scrum team
  • Leads and facilitates scrum ceremonies for the scrum team such as planning, daily stand-ups, review, and retrospective
  • Coordinates closely with Product Owners and guide them in backlog management
  • Tracks team impediments and help remove them
  • Coach and guides the scrum team in Agile delivery
  • Helps the team in identifying the best metrics and creating accessible and accurate team progress via task management tool

  • Mentors scrum team to increase agile maturity and practice

Qualifications

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Performs the role of a Scrum Master for at least 1-2 years
  • End-to-end completion of 1-2 projects

  • Attended and completed any Agile foundational trainings

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Completed any Scrum Master training or equivalent
  • Any of the following certifications: PSM I (Scrum.org), SAFE Scrum Master, CSM (ScrumAlliance) certification, or equivalent
  • An active member of any agile community of practice
