The candidate will work as a key member of the Technology Category Team on the Internal & Client-facing Managed Services Account. Within this position the candidate will be responsible for supporting sourcing projects and independently managing low- medium complexity value Sourcing projects and Category management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Lead or support sourcing projects including such as supplier selection, contract negotiations activity as required, and / or support other team members in delivery of procurement projects • Support sourcing projects across multiple IT Services and sub-categories in the English: Hardware, Software, IT Services and Telecoms. Manage suppliers through all aspects of the RFx process • Understand internal stakeholders’ requirements and manage the relationship with these stakeholders. Engage with customers to drive and communicate progress • Take responsibility as the key point of contact to a number of key client stakeholder groups. Support Procurement related data and document management requirements • Work closely with the P+ Technology Regional Category Leads to ensure alignment of local activity with the global category strategy • Proactively work with the stakeholders and partner organizations such as Legal and Contract Management to identify areas of non-compliant spend and maximize compliance through preferred suppliers • Proactively analyses data to identify new sources of non-compliance and savings.
