z/OS Systems Administration Support
Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions, focusing on designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems to ensure seamless operation and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall skill levels.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Implement best practices in software development and system administration to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
- Strong understanding of system performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with mainframe programming languages such as COBOL and JCL.
- Familiarity with database management systems and data storage solutions.
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in systems administration.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
- Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
