Quality Engineer (Tester)

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute testing strategies, developing automated scripts, and participating in code reviews. You will also monitor and report defects, contributing to continuous improvement efforts throughout the application lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and implement testing strategies that align with project goals. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance. - Continuously assess and improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS). - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with automation tools and frameworks for testing. - Proficient in scripting languages for test automation. - Familiarity with performance testing and security testing techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS). - This position is based at our Manila office.
