Security Engineer

Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the security posture of the organization. Your typical day will involve applying your security expertise to design and implement protective measures for enterprise systems and applications. You will also collaborate with team members to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring the safety of data and assets against potential cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities. - Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard information and assets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization. - Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance the organization's security framework. - Provide training and guidance to team members on security best practices and protocols. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Security Penetration Testing. - Strong understanding of network security protocols and methodologies. - Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques. - Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies. - Familiarity with incident response and management processes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Security Penetration Testing. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
