As an App Development Specialist, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, analyzing user needs, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Participate in project planning and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
• Proven experience as an AS400/Midas Engineer or in a similar role.
• Must have strong technical knowledge in AS400, CL/RPGLE, SQL, DB2, MQ, IBM WebSphere
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in system optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Very good organizational skills with attention to details
• Knowledge in JAVA, IBM WebSphere and MDCMS source control is an added advantage
• Understanding of Clearing and Settlements for Securities Trades, Corporate Actions, FX and Money Market deal and General Ledger
